Innovation has always been key to our group’s growth with a focus on exploration, invention and progress. This process was sparked by its founder’s inspirational energy. In the late 60’s Henry Wirquin and Daniel Le Coënt had the innovative idea of manufacturing plastic flushing mechanisms: the breakthrough for this trailblazing concept came in 1972 with the opening of a production site in Carquefou on the outskirts of Nantes in France.
The Wirquin company was set up in 1977 and ever since Daniel Le Coënt’s creativity has driven it, enabling it to continually progress both in France and around the world. This upward trajectory continues today thanks to our culture of innovation and the expertise of our 1,200 talents, our 6 factories and 10 subsidiaries. Today Wirquin’s innovative award-winning products are sold in more than 50 countries worldwide.
In 2017, Daniel Le Coënt handed over the company to his 3 sons Anthony, Grégory and Gwenhael. Since 2018, Grégory Le Coënt is managing the Wirquin Group, ensuring the continuity of the company’s development.

For the UK mainland, please note that Minimum order value can be as low as £75 carriage paid to any one delivery point. Certain products can be ordered in pallet quantities.
